Harun Solar is the group's newest energy business. It imports solar panels and systems through its Chinese associates and installs them in Bangladesh: ground-mounted solar plants, rooftop systems for factories and industrial sites, and household rooftop systems.
The Chinese associates supply equipment and engineering; Harun Solar handles the Bangladesh side, from survey and design to installation and service. A client deals with one company for the whole job.
It extends a sector the group has worked in since 1948: energy, delivered to where it is used.
